Cancel Spotify Premium on your account page

1. Open Safari and go to your Spotify account page (spotify.com, then Account). Sign in.
2. Open Manage your plan.
3. Tap Cancel subscription and confirm.

Spotify's help article describes cancelling on the account page. Start there rather than hunting through the app. The same steps work on a computer. Spotify also accepts cancellation by a form you send to it, linked from the same help article.

What happens after you cancel

• Premium stays on until your next billing date, then the account switches to free.
• You keep your playlists and saved music, and you can still listen, with ads.
• Cancel during a zero-priced free trial and the account goes back to free straight away. Spotify says those trials can't be restarted.

Family and Duo plans

Only the plan manager can cancel the plan, with the same steps. Members lose Premium from the next payment date and move to free. If you're a member, following the steps removes you from the plan but doesn't cancel it: ask the plan manager.

No "Cancel" or "change plan" option?

Then a partner bills you, usually a mobile or broadband provider. On your account page, go to Manage your plan, then Payment, to find their contact link. If the account shows as free but you're still charged, Spotify says you may have Premium on a different Spotify account: check other email addresses you use.
